Thomas has developed fire strategies for more than 200 projects and has experience of working in the UK, Europe and further afield. The sectors he has worked in include high rise (commercial in London and the Middle East), Educational (schools, academies and universities), healthcare, transport (airports, subterranean railways), stadia, warehouses and all areas of residential developments from individual dwellings to high rise prime residential schemes. Notable projects include Crossrail, ExCel Exhibition Centre, Battersea Reach Development and Amex House. Having grown up around construction projects, Thomas has an innate enthusiasm for the built environment. He strives to continuously develop bespoke, imaginative and practical fire strategies for a variety of schemes within both monetary and timescale constraints. Thomas has a BEng (Hons) from the University of Leeds and has extensive experience in detailed fire engineering techniques including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and people movement modelling. He is based in London and works on schemes in the UK and worldwide.
