Having studied Structural and Fire Safety Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, Diana has a particular interest in structures and their behaviour in fire. Her multi-disciplinary background has always proved to be an important asset in liaising with the design team and anticipating the implications the fire strategy may have on the overall success of the project. Diana always strives to deliver an optimised design, challenging the prescriptive norms where the project requires it. While she is an advocate for innovation and unicity in design, safety is always at the forefront of her work.
Diana has worked on projects in a variety of sectors – commercial, office, residential, educational, lifestyle, infrastructure, high-end residential, listed buildings – either delivering fire strategies or, one the more challenging projects, focusing on individual components, such as structure behaviour or smoke modelling.
